Point Lonsdale's natural beauty offers itself as a unique setting for that special day. What better backdrops than our iconic lighthouse, fisherman's pier and Bass Strait!
We are only 500 meters from the Rip (where Port Phillip Bay meets Bass Strait) so its an easy stroll back to the Guest House.
Should the weather be "uncooperative" we can activate "Plan B" and head indoors.
Accommodation packages are available in rooms ranging from Double to Queen and Family Suites.
All wedding packages include:
- A complimentary night in the Lighthouse Room for the Bride and Groom OR a voucher for their 1st Anniversary.
- Exclusive use of all facilities.
- Option to use the backyard facilities for a "day after" BBQ
Reception Options:
- Spit Roast outdoors
- Buffet Style meal in the Westwood Dining Room
- 2 or 3 course formal sit down meal in the Westwood Dining Room
- Cocktail Party
- Marquee on the tennis court if you are planning something a little different
We are happy to cater for any special dietery requirements. Childrens menus can be provided.
All indoor receptions include:
- A Wedding Cake Table and Cake Knife
- flowers in both rooms
Table centres can be supplied @ $10 each or you can supply your own.
Speak to us about your music requirements. Remember we do not have a dance
floor.
Outdoor Weddings - Toilets
The shared toilets inside are available to all guests however there are only 2.
We suggest that you use both rooms 1 and 2 as extra toilets.
Otherwise you can hire portable bathrooms from Mobile Ensuite Hire
Spit Roast - Outdoors**
Golden Roast Spit Catering will cater for all your requirements for a spit roast meal from $22.50 a head and will supply service staff.
Outdoors you are welcome to supply your own alcohol and glasses although we would also be willing to supply both.
Receptions in the Westwood Dining Room
The Westwood Dining Room can accommodate approximately 40 guests.
However if you are not using the Function Room for pre-dinner drinks, we can open the doors between the rooms to accommodate more guests.
We can provide your guests with drinks and canapes while you are having your photos taken. Guests can assemble outside, weather permitting, or in the Function Room.
We are happy to discuss your food and beverage requirements and provide a quote.
BYO Alcohol is not permitted in either the Dining or Function Rooms.
Buffet Style
Packages start at $50 per head.
Selections will be tailored to your requirements.
Brewed coffee and a selection of teas will be provided.
Formal Reception
Prices start at $60 per head.
Our chef will provide you with menu selections tailored to your needs.
Traditional Silver Service tea and coffee will be provided.
Cocktail Party
Prices start at $30 per head.
We can cater for up to 100 by combining the Westwood Dining Room and the adjoining Function Room which has access to the outside courtyard.
All canapes are served on silver platters by uniformed staff.
Brewed coffee and a selection of teas will be on offer during the party.
Marquee on the Tennis Court**
Cost - $500 for use of the property - $500 bond (this will be returned when the property is returned to its original state)
Total occupancy (all rooms reserved for wedding guests) is a pre-requisite as sharing the rooms between wedding and non-wedding guests does not work.
