Queenscliff

Just a stone's throw down the road from Point Lonsdale is charming Queenscliff. Sophisticated, graceful and trendy, Queenscliff is the "jewel in the crown" for Bellarine tourism. Its magnificent old buildings, quirky shops and ultra modern Harbour ensure that there is something for everybody.

Queenscliff's proud history is passionately preserved and displayed in its cluster of museums:
Queenscliff Maritime Museum;

Fort Queenscliff Museum and

Queenscliff Historical Society Museum.

On the last weekend in November, Queenscliff hosts the Queenscliff Music Festival showcasing the best in contemporary Australian music and artists. It attracts thousands of people over three days and would be the single biggest attraction in the region. Queenscliff also promotes the Seafood Feast at Easter and the Couta Boat Festival. Of course the Bellarine Railway and the unique Blues Train hail from Queenscliff while the Queenscliff/Sorrento Ferry is also based here.
